Hello I’m Melody.
I’m a UX Designer.

All my life I’ve been going down unfamiliar paths, taking necessary risks and learning on my own. I am a maker with a passion for understanding everything at a deeper level. My experience varies from user experience to some front and back-end development. I’ve worked on multiple accounts across different agencies designing engaging experiences for web platforms, mobile apps, and what I have learned is that there is no straight forward path in the creative process and that creative discovery sometimes happens on accident and when you least expect it.

When I’m not pixel pushing, I’m pushing to github. You can catch me at a hackathon if I’m not too busy coming up with ideas for my latest projects. My last hackathon was AngelHack 2015 — which I won absolutely nothing. That’s okay. In that same year, myself and a team of awesome developers won the JustGiving API award at BattleHack2015. Outside of my tech adventures, I’m making soap, playing video games, and attending awesome music festivals. Out of curiosity, I took it upon myself to build my own pc and some of my favorite video games include League of Legends, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Starcraft and Monster Hunter. I occasionally stream on twitch when I need a break.

Fun Facts

I can play videos games for an entire weekend if I’m in the mood. My favorite dessert is ice cream— Pistachio flavor. My favorite video game right now is Call of Duty, Blackops 4. I have two cats at home. They’re practically like dogs.
